If you don’t have any experience, going into these interviews can leave you with nothing interesting to discuss. So, how do you gain that experience?

Don’t just build anything; find something in your life that you’re passionate about and create a project around that. For instance, if you collect Magic: The Gathering cards, consider building a website to manage your collection. Instead of just displaying your cards, create something interesting. Maybe you could write an algorithm to calculate the future value of your cards next year. This adds an intriguing element to your project.
