00:06:43.680 I have spoken to individuals from HP, IBM, and GE. These companies are introducing thousands of engineers to Ruby, which is quite remarkable. On a personal level, I've encountered countless people sharing similar stories.

And for those that are already growing, how do we as individual developers maintain the fun and creativity in our jobs as the organizations expand around us?
00:10:04.800 As a community, we actually have these conversations often—albeit implicitly—when we discuss various topics. One conversation that arises frequently involves dichotomies in developer roles.
00:10:18.000 There are typically two groups: the established company people who prefer a structured process and know what they are building, and startup individuals who are more creative, appreciate disruption, but sometimes face accusations of immaturity.
